Is a purchase invoice for a company the same thing that the invoice we get when we go shopping for example?

Purchases Invoices are simply the invoices that you have received for any purchases that you have made.

When a business buys supplies or orders services which are provided, then the supplier issues an invoice which is the “receipt” which shows what was bought, the quantities and how much the cost was.
