What accruals means and is an asset or a liability? How exactly would you define accruals and what kind of balances are usually included in the accruals balance?
Accruals are expenses that have not yet been paid and in most cases no invoice has been received but they are relevant to the period. Accruals is a liability. Accrued income on the other hand is an asset.
