I remember that there is a way to find how much equity a company has from the assets and the liabilities. Could you help please?

Its quite easy to find the equity if you have assets and liabilities. The basic accounting equation is:

Assets= Liabilities + Equity so if you know the assets and the liabilities, then:
Equity= Assets-Liabilities.
