I need to calculate some financial ratios (profitability,liquidity etc) and it seems to me that there are so many of them that I need to find a how to actually remember them. Are all profitability ratios percentages?
Yes most of them are expressed as percentages but not all of them. For example Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortization can be a reliable profitability indicator but its not exactly a ratio and its not a percentage.
