Is it true that European stocks tend to be cheaper than the stocks of the companies that are listed in the US?

I wouldn’t say that European stocks are cheaper just because the companies are based in Europe. First of all, a lot of European companies are listed in the US. On the other hand, at this moment and due to the Euro Crisis the stocks prices are not as high as they as they used to be for obvious reasons.
